The service
DroidSender lets you send, receive and automate SMS through your own Android phones. Messages leave from your SIM card and your mobile plan: the carrier, the number and the plan costs are yours.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for everything done with your account. An account is for one person or one company.
Acceptable use
- You may only message people who have consented to hear from you, and every campaign must include a way to stop receiving them (opt-out). Replying STOP always works and we enforce it platform-wide.
- No spam, phishing, smishing, fraud, malware links, harassment or illegal content.
- No impersonation: you may not present yourself as a person, brand, bank or public body you do not represent, and you may not use a sender identity you are not entitled to use.
- You are responsible for complying with your mobile carrier contract, including the sending limits of your plan. Carriers may throttle, suspend or block a SIM card used for bulk messaging. That risk is yours, and we cannot restore a blocked SIM or a lost number.
- You are responsible for the lawful basis of the personal data you upload (contact lists included) and for the content you send.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, without notice where the abuse is ongoing.
Plans and payments
Plans are billed monthly or yearly and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the paid period. The SMS allowance of each plan refers to messages processed by the platform.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". SMS delivery depends on your device, the network and the carrier, none of which we control; we do not guarantee delivery, and we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the courts of Portugal have jurisdiction. Questions: hello@droidsender.com.
